Kingdom Casters
Our Kingdom Casters youth fishing program allows boys, ages 12-16, the chance to spend time on the water learning to fish while also hearing the truth of God’s Word and growing in the Lord. Combining fishing principles and techniques with Biblical truths, we are able to create a fun atmosphere for boys to learn how to fish (many who may have never fished before), but more importantly learn about the importance of a relationship with Christ.
Our mission is to teach these boys a fun and clean pastime, while at the same time getting them excited about the joy that comes from a relationship with Jesus - both of which they can enjoy and share with others for the rest of their lives!
And Jesus said to them, “Follow me, and I will make you fishers of men.”

Education
At Kingdom Casters day camp, boys will learn the basics of fishing:
• Fish Species & Identification
• Proper Fish Handling Techniques
• Basic Entomology (What Fish Eat)
• Education on Basic Fishing Equipment:
• Rods
• Reels
• Bait & Lures
• Knots & Rigging Techniques
• Casting Instruction & Practice
They will also be educated on:
• Basic Boater Safety
• Importance of Environmental Conservation
• Fish Cleaning & Prepping
Giving the Gospel
Most importantly, at Kingdom Casters day camp, boys will hear the gospel of Jesus Christ!
Combining fishing principles and techniques with biblical truths, we are able to create a fun atmosphere for boys to learn how to fish, but more than that teach them about the importance of a relationship with Christ and what it means to be a fisher of men!
At the end of camp, boys will be gifted and sent home with their own fishing pole, tackle box with starter tackle, Kingdom Casters t-shirt, boy’s study bible, and resources to guide them in their new passion of fishing - both for fish and for men!
Information
When?
We will be hosting three day camps this year. The 2024 Kingdom Casters dates will be:
• July 27
• August 31
• September 28
Boys will be dropped off at the lake at 8:30am and picked back up 8:30pm
Where?
Kingdom Casters Day Camp is hosted at Upper Jeptha Lake in Bloomingdale, MI

Kingdom Casters is open to boys, ages 12 - 16
Cost?
Kingdom Casters provides this experience at NO COST to those participating in the program! This is made possible through sponsors, donations, community partnerships, and volunteers.
The cost of Kingdom Casters Day Camp works out to $439 per boy - this includes all the equipment, resources, food, and materials for camp and the items sent home (which includes a fishing pole, tackle box, tackle, t-shirt and study bible).

All fishing equipment will be provided
Boys will have opportunities to fish from within a rowboat - life jackets will be worn at all times
Breakfast, lunch, and dinner will be provided
